The Smart Remote 3 is our third generation remote for use with our base units.
\nThis
\nremote has a color touch screen interface with an easy o use GUI, a USB
\nport for adding a keyboard or backing up to a USB storage device, build
\nin internet interface for easy updates and now runs on Windows 7.
\nThe
\noperator now can adjust fan speed, control backlight intensity and
\nbutton backlight intensity. In addition to working with our New
\nUltimatte 500 and Ultimatte 11 units, the Smart Remote 3 is backwards
\ncompatible with theUltimatte 400, 9, 10 and HD.<\/p>\n
Ultimatte 11<\/p>\n
The Ultimatte 11 HD\/SD is the next generation,
\nmulti-definition, blue\/green screen, compositing device. If your studio
\nis set up for HD or SD, or you are planning to change from SD to HD, the
\nUltimatte 11 HD\/SD is the perfect real-time compositing device at the
\nright price.<\/p>\n
The Ultimatte 11 HD\/SD has been designed to address
\nthe needs of virtual studios. With enhanced Matte controls, streamlined
\nAmbiance controls, in addition to complete FG and BG RGB color controls,
\nthe Ultimatte 11 HD\/SD \u201cplaces\u201d the FG subject in the new environment
\nin a very natural and realistic way.<\/p>\n
Multi-Definition – SD\/HD<\/p>\n
The
\nUltimatte 11 operates with SD and HD 4:2:2 formats. The unit is
\nautomatically configured to the format of the signal connected to Input
\n1. (You cannot, however, mix HD and SD signals.)<\/p>\n
Enhanced Matte Controls
\nThe
\nUltimatte 11 incorporates modified matte algorithms to extend the
\nability of accurately separating the FG subject from the backing.<\/p>\n
Matte Corrections and Sizing
\nIn
\naddition to standard Matte Sizing, the Ultimatte 11 incorporates Matte
\nCorrection, which analyzes all matte transitions, and applies the
\nappropriate amount of correction to the transitions which need
\nmodification.<\/p>\n
Ambiance
\nWith Indirect and Direct lighting
\nfeatures, the Ambiance controls in the Ultimatte 11 allow the \u201clighting\u201d
\nand the colors of the new background to have a subtle or a strong
\nimpact on the brightness and colors of the FG subject. Ambiance allows
\nthe FG subject to be more naturally and realistically placed in its new
\nenvironment.<\/p>\n
Four-Input Router
\nThe Ultimatte 11 has
\nfour inputs with active loop outputs. The user can assign which of these
\ninputs to be the Foreground, the Background or the external Matte.<\/p>\n
Dual External Mattes
\nThe
\nUltimatte 11 allows the user to input two external Mattes (4:0:0)
\nsimultaneously, and assign how each of these mattes will be used. One
\nexternal Matte could be used as a garbage matte (force BG), while the
\nsecond external Matte could be used as a holdout matte (force FG).
\nAlternately, both external Mattes can be multiplexed into one signal
\n(4:4), thus utilizing the full bandwidth of the SDI signal.<\/p>\n
Monitor Outputs
\nIn
\naddition to the two FG+BG outputs and the Matte output, the Ultimatte
\n11 has a Monitor output. This output allows the user to view different
\nstages of the compositing process [FG+BG, FG, BG, Combined Matte,
\nInternal Matte, PRFG (processed FG)] without changing the viewed images
\non the FG+BG and the Matte outputs. The Monitor output can also be used
\nas a \u201ctalent monitor\u201d output, where the viewed image can be mirrored
\n(horizontally) to allow the talent to interact with the new background
